New TelePASE Payment System in Buenos Aires

From now on, drivers in the City of Buenos Aires have a new way to pay tolls: the TelePASE by license plate. This innovative measure allows toll payment without the need for a physical sticker on the windshield, being valid for both light and heavy vehicles.

The implementation of the TelePASE by license plate involves making payment through reading the vehicle's license plate, as long as it is registered in the system. This method is exclusive to the highways of the City of Buenos Aires (AUSA) and the fee will be 50% higher than the traditional TelePASE.

This new payment method will be available only for light and heavy vehicles on the city’s highways and can be paid with credit or debit card, or through a postpaid bill.

To join the TelePASE by license plate, drivers must register on the official TelePASE website, providing their personal and vehicle details, and select the TelePASE by license plate option, as well as associate a payment method. Those who prefer the traditional TelePASE can obtain the sticker for free at collection points located in various Communes of the City.

Virtuality comes to the tolls of the City of Buenos Aires with this new payment method through the TelePASE by license plate system. Interested drivers can also join this virtual payment method at the authorized plants of the Vehicle Technical Verification (VTV) located in different areas of the City.
